“You belong with me, and no one else can get you.” It is an obsessive possessiveness and some abusive lovers’ thought. In their opinion, their lovers can only belong with them. Their lovers’ friends, relatives and work are all kinds of threats that can make them feel deprived. It arouse their dramastic reaction.
Our story describes a relationship which was influenced by possessiveness. Our main character, Cathy, inserts her flags into different places to make them become her territories. Her action is a metaphor for occupation of her boyfriend’s body and soul. Her boyfriend is fully under her control eventually.
